George W. Jackson, Jr. MBA, Ph.D., HCISPP, CISSP, PMP, CRISC has proven to be a highly creative, strategic thinker who can learn quickly and actively decisively in rapidly changing, highly complex environments.  An expert problem solver with three decades of success in completing cybersecurity, privacy, information security management systems, and risk management projects. George has several decades of success in managing multi-phase, multimillion-dollar initiatives throughout a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, and banking/finance.  During this time, George accumulated a broad yet in-depth array of business and technical skills needed to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to meet critical business objectives.  George earned a B.S. Degree in IT Management in 2006 and followed that up with an MBA in IT Management in 2008. A PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2006, George is well acquainted with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and Agile Project Management Methodologies such as SCRUM.  George was certified as an Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2008 and a Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) in 2016. Most recently, George has completed a Ph.D. in Information Technology with a specialization in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity.  George is a former Director of Health IT and Digital Health with Clearwater, managing a team of virtual Chief Information Security Officers (vCISO) in delivering cybersecurity risk management engagements for health IT and digital health firms locally and internationally.  Currently, George is an independent cybersecurity consultant specializing in healthcare cyber risk management services.
